I want us to get fired up about 'friendship evangelism' (bad term, important mindset). So, inspired by Fightclub, and Dan Shepheard's old youth ministry, I'm gonna hand out assignments to the leadership team of Tuesday Crossroads tonight.
I've put each challenge in a little cash slip envelope, to make it fun.
The challenges are things like:
- Catch up with an old school friend,
- Be chatty to everyone you interact with,
- Catch public transport and chat to the people you sit next to,
- Go to the pub and talk to people at the bar,
- Piggy back on someone else' hobby.

hey good thoughts. Its amazing what happens also when you set routines with these things. My wife and i and our son live in Newtown catch the same train to summer hill for bible study each week 5:52 same carriage and you guessed it same mother and daughter each week who we are trying to chat to more. Also, Monday nights my mum comes in and looks after our boy, my wife and i go to the same bar each week and having more and more chats with the owner every week... plus she serves schofferhoffer! (or however you spell it) Evangelism isn't rocket science to steal a crowded house line... its just Gospel intentionality in all things.
Great examples Anon, thanks.
