The modern view of character

Tim Chester observes:

The contrast becomes even more stark when we realize that modern character is achieved through self-expression and expressed in self-fulfilment while biblical character is achieved through self-denial and expressed in self-sacrifice.

He writes well does Tim.

And I agree that personality is, at times, the "new" character.

But to divorce the two, as he appears to be doing in his article, and to pit the "wrong" of self-expression against the "right" of self-denial is unliveable.
