We're thinking about showing some good stand-alone 5-10min videos during a church mission in a few months. Any suggestions of some good content from John Dickson, Phillip Jensen, Dominice Steele or others? We don't have internet access in our church building, so it's gotta be easy to download. They are for evangelistic meetings, so they gotta be engaging, good quality, stand-alone vids.
Suggestions for four 5-10 min videos

What's the target group? Youth/worker/families/seniors? What's the purpose of the vid clip?
Target group - diverse church with majority in 20-40 year old bracket.
Purpose - thought-provoking, media filler.
The latest DVD package from Clarke and Dickson, 'The Christ Files', has loads of material you could use. Heaps of apologetic-type segments. And they are convincing.
Thanks for the tip Michael. I'll track em down.
The new 'Life of Jesus' DVD which John & Greg released earlier in the year for Easter is in the same vein: slick, with lots of segments and Q&A.
The differences is the LoJ focuses on the NT picture of Jesus and doesn't worry so much about the manuscript historicity arguments.
Here's some example of the Q&A segements (mostly ~2-3mins, with John & Greg on location somewhere in Israel talking):
- Is it rational to believe in God's existence?
- Is there more to life than meets the eye?
- Aren't all religions basically the same?
- Is faith a leap in the dark?
- Why so many images of Jesus?
- Is religion the cause of violence?
- Can we really believe in 'peace on earth'?
- Why would a loving God judge us?
- The unpredictability of death
- Where does 'hell' come from?
- Can you be good without God?
- Did Jesus condemn wealth?
LoJ is split into 6 episodes and you could potentially show a whole episode as well. The 4th episode, "Judge & Friend", which challenges the meek & mild stereotype, is ~12 mins long.
Thanks man!
Life of Jesus is the one I meant
